Hello there, everyone! How have you been this week?
Patience is the best word to describe how I’ve been feeling this week. While our house has been in the hands of construction workers all week, I’ve also had to put up with several client cancellations, which has required a lot of patience on my part. Spending time with family and friends has been a highlight of the week, and this morning’s beautiful trail run to Sarah as well as Amy was no exception.

The cutest little things ever. I’m grateful for the friendships I’ve made and the insightful discussions we’ve had. The perfect weather as well as company made me realise it was June this morning! Even though I was aware of the fact that June had arrived, I had no idea that 2015 had already passed its halfway point! What the heck?
It’s time to take a look at my 2015 goals to see what they’re progressing or not, since we’re only halfway done.
Objectives for 2015: Finish my 1st obstacle race (currently in progress).
To prepare again for Spartan Citizens Bank Sprint throughout November, I’ve been putting a lot of effort into strengthening my upper body. Strength in my arms is essential because we’ll need to lift ourselves up or above walls and carry heavy sandbags higher than or equal long flights of stairs. I’ll also be giving away a free race software in the near future, so keep an eye out!
During the work week, I have completely eliminated all processed sugar from my diet.
That worked for almost a month, but after that, I went back to my old ways. Checking in to see how things are progressing has reminded me why ’re staying focused on my goals. During the day, I eat mostly whole foods, but late afternoon snacks and an evening bowl of ice cream are difficult for me.

Work in progress
There’s no better process of working toward a pull-up goal than to practise pull-ups in preparation for my Spartan/obstacle goal. Despite the fact that I’m far behind schedule, I AM progressing!
